How to Read the Queen of Diamonds:

Traditionally, the Queen of Diamonds represents a woman with very light coloring –  red or light blond hair with blue, green or gray eyes.  She might also have gray or white hair.  The Queen of Diamonds is intelligent, imaginative, energetic woman who is cultured and financially secure.

An older symbolic meaning for this card is of a rich socialite dripping in diamonds and fur.  When surrounded by unfavorable cards, the Queen of Diamonds can represent a garish, flirtatious woman who manipulates men for her own ends, and then tosses them aside when they no longer serve her needs.  In a love triangle, the Queen of Diamonds often represents “the other woman.”

In modern interpretations, The Queen of Diamonds represents an intelligent, dynamic woman of authority.  There is usually money around her. She might be a wealthy jet-setter, an account executive, a CPA, a bank manager, or a government official.

My grandmother read the Queen of Diamonds as a young relative by marriage. She might be a mother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, step child, step-sister, or any family bond by marriage.
